The International Women’s Forum of Idaho (IWF of Idaho) is now in our 11th year.
The Idaho IWF Forum was formed in 2013 by a group of Wood River Valley residents, some of whom were members of the Washington D.C., New York, and California IWF Forums. They recruited 23 women leaders in the Wood River Valley and Twin Falls because they believed that outstanding women leaders in Idaho would benefit from the exchange of ideas, learning opportunities and inspiration from coming together in Idaho, as well as nationally and globally.
The idea resonated, and, in 2024, we number 66 members across the state. A major benefit of the IWF of Idaho is that it gives members an opportunity to meet exceptional and interesting women across disciplines in Idaho whom one would never meet otherwise. Idaho is one of the fastest growing states in the country and part of our IWF Idaho growth is from IWF members who are moving here. A number of our current members have been or still are members of other IWF state forums.
In Idaho and across the globe, IWF’s mission is to support the women leaders of today and tomorrow. We build better leadership across careers, continents and cultures by connecting accomplished women both locally and globally. In the United States, forty-one states have local forums.
